Memorial Day Weekend: the traditional start of the summer season. After a rainy start yesterday, we woke today to brilliant sun and a cool breeze – so it was off to the beach!

It is always a lucky day when I find a heart rock. It was absolutely perfect to find one today, especially one that was as yellow as the morning sun.
