I like to think this can be considered a reminder of summer past … or even autumn. I’ll take an autumn day. 10F this morning and windy!
Counting the Circles
Absolutely perfectly circular bubbles remained in this mussel moments after the tide receded. They echoed the several air holes in the surrounding sand. Balance!
Balance Made Easy
It is not clear what the light brown cluster actually is. Perhaps a broken bit of cork? Whatever it is, though, it is perfectly positioned with the stick to make it look easily balanced.
Fulcrum
Rough hewn, yet delicate. Color-burst amidst monochrome. This still life is in perfect balance.
Stripe and Solid / Sea and Land
From the placement, the color, and the curve of each object, this made an almost perfect composition.
