Downy bits of feather and a sugar-crust delicate shell were arranged just perfectly for an understated still life. Understated, but absolutely elegant.
Blown to the very edge of the tide, this set of pine needles lasted only seconds after the photo was taken. The early morning shadow creates a lovely crest in the sand.
