I loved the linearity of these fragments followed by the two, punctuating pebbles.
My husband was with me on this walk and took a phone photo as I was capturing this tide line still life. Sometimes I just ‘see’ arrangements that I think are beautiful in their own right . . . Even those composed of broken shells and ordinary pebbles.
The pink shell fragment stood out so vividly on the frozen beach. There was no snow around this particular cluster . . . Almost as if the pink shell had melted it all away.
The colors in the shell and in the sand are so, so similar! It is also appropriate for me to post a monochrome on the day of a major snowstorm!
With rain this morning, and the temperature plummeting during the day, a bit of sunshine is exactly what I need.
