This poor jellyfish was stranded on a beach in West Palm, Florida, along with a large number of his variety. Most jellyfish are 93-95% water, and this one, with bubbles, seemed to blur the line between solid and liquid.
The tideline was particularly cluttered this day, but there was a beauty in the simple geometry of this feather beside the small airway vent for a hidden mollusk.
Sometimes we have to look really carefully to see what is keeping our head above water.
