A winter storm predicted for today makes me dream of spring. This still life is evocative of a butterfly on a bush… well, at least it is to me!

Dance! Run! Move into the new year with joy! This tiny piece of coral seemed to be dancing across the tide line. Such a delight to find!

Tossed, shaken, frothed, and prepared by the ocean just the moment before the photo was taken. I had to work fast to avoid the next wave!
Captured Sunrise
The sky was brilliant yellow on the horizon early this morning. When I looked down and spotted this shell, the sunrise seemed to be captured at my feet.
Hook and Crook
A hook in the sea grass, a crook in the tidal limit. Coupled with an intriguing shadow, they make an intriguing still life.
