An oak leaf blown onto the beach, and a rose petal from a remembrance bouquet washed up with the tide. Coming together on the tide line, they offered an unexpected still life.

Composition with Coquina, Crab Carcass, and Rose Petal
The color of the coquina balances with the pink of the faded rose petal. The crab carcass is an added interest point. I love this almost surrealist composition of tide line treasures.
