What can be found on the beach defies imagination! This still life is composed of a leaf and a shadow. The resulting combination is something out of a child’s imagination.
The very early sun was perfectly aligned to create an angular shadow from this ovoid clam shell. What a treat!

At any other time of the day this shadow would have been missing. The coral itself is unremarkable, but the of the shadow by the very early, low-in-the-sky sunlight formed a fun figure on the sand.
