Mimicry on a Smaller Scale

A piece of a mussel shell positioned perfectly beside the remainders of a gull’s breakfast. Maybe I was tired, and it was just a bit too early in the morning, but it sure looked like a shark’s head going after the crab.

I never move or alter the position or placement of any of the items that I photograph, and sometimes there is simple delight in what I notice, not just beauty!
