I love the beach. Just week away from the anniversary of Superstorm Sandy, I remember the ocean’s destructive power and fury. But I really still love being beside it most of the time!
Rarely do I bring home something that I stumble upon, but I did pocket this after photographing. This small bit of shell sat a bit away from other tide line debris. A near-perfect heart. Startling, really. To quote Anne Morrow Lindbergh, it was a Gift from the Sea . . . For me.
