Red Pine

Of land and sea. I love when they combine on the tideline.

A little hint about how to quickly ID red vs white pine in this area of the US: Red pines have two and sometimes three needles in a cluster, white pines have five. R.E.D. = 3 letters; W.H.I.T.E. = 5. While there are other varieties of pine with three needles in a cluster, in this area they can be considered a variant of red. I am not sure this is true, but I took this info and ran with it decades ago.

I am a person of many varied interests . . .
