I usually walk in the morning, but this was taken on rare walk at dusk. It has been too bitter cold for me early in the day! I absolutely love how the early and late sun creates drama out of items we would normally never notice.

A Bowl of Sunshine
The days are so short in December … How about a bowl of warm sunshine to start the day?
I love how the very early sunshine makes this ancient shell look like carved marble. What luck to stumble upon this right at this moment! The mussel serves to draw the eye to the center light.
