On the east coast, so this is sunrise. Feel free to mentally adjust the title if you have a setting sun above your tide line. 🙂
It is unusual to find a scallop shell of any sort on our beach. This one’s a beauty, and beside the mussel shells it really shined.
A warm(er) morning here, but there is news of the return of the dreaded Polar Vortex next week. It seems the perfect day to remember a warm, summer dawn’s light.
There is no color enhancement to this scallop shell. It positively shone on the beach! It is also the perfect (and cheery) still life for a snowy, messy, grey day.
The red ‘rays’ of this shell remind me that there is nothing as lovely as a sunrise or sunset over an ocean.
