A long-dead jellyfish disturbingly takes on the appearance of a skull. The seaweed? Well, decide for yourself. I toyed with saving this photograph until Halloween, but decided it is too much fun to wait that long.

Feather, Fragment, and Magnifying Seaweed
All three pieces are beaten by the waves, but almost made more beautiful in their form and composition. The magnifying seaweed was a surprise when I downloaded the photos from my camera.

A winter storm predicted for today makes me dream of spring. This still life is evocative of a butterfly on a bush… well, at least it is to me!
