A beach, a sunrise, and the surprise of sea glass.
The sun shining through a bit of sea glass first caught my eye very early in the morning. Then I noticed that the interior of the mussel was still holding the image of the sunrise that had just taken place.
The sky was brilliant yellow on the horizon early this morning. When I looked down and spotted this shell, the sunrise seemed to be captured at my feet.
Remembering a stunning sunrise over the ocean is a fine way to start the week. This still life mimics the time of day the photo was taken – just after sunrise one morning last month.
