Patterns found in nature positively shine. This humble clam’s blue stripes trump any striped pattern found in haute couture.
A sea-smoothed piece of shell or a tabletop? With my penchant for personifying language and exercising imagination with inanimate and unrelated objects . . . I choose the latter.
What can be found on the beach defies imagination! This still life is composed of a leaf and a shadow. The resulting combination is something out of a child’s imagination.
It is not clear what the light brown cluster actually is. Perhaps a broken bit of cork? Whatever it is, though, it is perfectly positioned with the stick to make it look easily balanced.
There is no color enhancement to this scallop shell. It positively shone on the beach! It is also the perfect (and cheery) still life for a snowy, messy, grey day.
Simple geometry. Simple annotation. Just simplicity.
