Does anyone know what the creature on the left is? The tide line was full of them. As you can see from the sand grains, it is small, about an inch in length.

Tide Line Still Life 
Whatever it is, it’s pretty cool looking. A crab, perhaps?
I do think it is some sort of crab, but no other claws. Very odd!
It looks like it might be the larval form of some crustacean or other, to me.
I’m going to google that suggestion. Thanks!
