Lovely autumn colors clustering. Subtle tidal edging. A single white pebble. Or . . . Just now I see a face as I post this. I positively love the simplicity of pebbles on a tide line.

Feathers and footprints were in abundance on this beach. There must have been a wild gull party!
White scroll algae dances through the waves to land on the tide line. Part pirouette, part whirling dervish, its dance brings it for me to discover on the shore.
Can’t you just hear them talking about the good old days, when they were bright, new coral? “When I was young . . .” “Remember when . . .? “How you been??”
Like ‘The Grin’ several weeks ago. Can you see the wink, or is it just my over active imagination (and my tendency to personify all things beach and sea)?
