What a surprise as the receding tide arranged these pebbles and shell fragment! It was lucky to be there to see this, but it made me wonder what else I may miss with each wave.

Lovely autumn colors clustering. Subtle tidal edging. A single white pebble. Or . . . Just now I see a face as I post this. I positively love the simplicity of pebbles on a tide line.
